Kuari Pass Trek
The classic Curzon Trail — oak forests, snow meadows and one of the widest Himalayan panoramas in Garhwal.
The Garhwal & Kumaon Himalaya — our home mountains
Uttarakhand is where the Ganga and Yamuna are born, where the Char Dham pilgrimage winds between temples, and where peaks like Nanda Devi, Trishul, Kamet and Chaukhamba rise above wide alpine meadows called bugyals.
Northern Hill is based in Joshimath in Chamoli district — the gateway to Auli, Badrinath, the Valley of Flowers and the Nanda Devi region — so most of our treks start within a few hours of home.
The state is split into two Himalayan regions: Garhwal in the west and Kumaon in the east. Deep river valleys — the Alaknanda, Bhagirathi, Yamuna and Pindar — cut between ranges topping 7,000 m.
Below the treeline you walk through oak, rhododendron, deodar and birch forest; above it, bugyals stretch to the snowline and bloom with wildflowers each monsoon. Wildlife includes Himalayan monal, musk deer, bharal and, occasionally, the snow leopard.
Mar – Jun, Sep – Dec (winter snow treks Dec – Apr)
Everything from easy meadow walks like Gorson Bugyal and Dayara Bugyal to technical expeditions like Panpatia Col.
